Community Service

Documentation of material related to Faculty participation in community service.

Pursuant to NEASC standards, this section of the Portfolio will contain material to document:

  1. Continued professional growth (5.7)
  2. Participation in scholarship, research, creative activities, and/or service (5.7)

I was introduced to Service-Learning very early in my career at KVCC.  When all those leaders had left I was teh only one to carry that forth.  I created the KVCC Center for Civic Engagement as a way to focus efforts on the development of standards and expectations for quality service-learning and community engagement at KVCC. I practice these principles both in my classes and in my personal life.  - Dr. Mark K.

Can we share resources nationwide to measure and document the skills of our psychology majors/graduates?
